Welcome to Byston Well, a world that exists in the spaces between sea and land. The only way to get there from here is through the Aura Road, which few can open. Young motocross racer Shou Zama is dragged through the Aura Road and into Byston Well, where he is to pilot a powerful robot weapon, an Aura Battler, in Drake Luft’s conquest of the planet. But when Shou realizes the danger Drake poses, can he defect to the other side in time to prevent an invasion of Earth? An epic, one-of-a-kind adventure, Aura Battler Dunbine is the stuff of which legends are made. Dive head-first into a rich, fully defined world where magic and mecha work hand-in-hand to create one of the most unique anime experiences ever envisioned.
After a motocross accident, Show Zama was pulled from Japan into the mystical world of Byston Well, where he and others from Earth were reicruited by Lord Drake Luft to pilot his newest weapons, the Aura Battlers, a combination of Byston Well magic and Earthien technology. However, in the heat of battle, Show is approached by Marvel, a woman from Earth, who convinces him of Luft's sinister intentions.

Sho Zama, an up and coming motorcycle racer, has been whisked away to the world between shore and sea, Byston Well. The world of Byston Well closely resembles medieval Europe with one exception: it contains giant robots called aura battlers. Brought to this world by the power hungry Drake Luft because he possesses the rare gift of aura, Sho is forced to fight in a war between two warring nations as an aura battler pilot. Can Sho find a way home, and what of the continually-expanding conflict?
