Handa Seishu, a young calligrapher, decides to take time out after his last work has been criticized stridently. He travels to a small island to relax and find things that support his inspiration. However, the local community interferes with his plan; especially the seven year old girl Naru, who has a thirst for adventure, is always in search of fun, therefore, she wants to spend as much time with Handa as possible.
As a punishment for punching a famous calligrapher, young handsome calligrapher Handa Seishu is exiled to a small island. As someone who has never lived outside of a city, Handa has to adapt to his new wacky neighbors, like people traveling on a tractor, unwanted visitors who never use the front door, annoying kids using his home as a playground, etc. Can this city guy handle all the crazy hardships? Find out in this wacky island comedy full of innocence and laughter!
The slice-of-life comedy centers around the ikemen (handsome) 23-year-old calligrapher Seishuu Handa, who moves to the remote Gotou Islands off the western coast of Kyushu. Seishuu grew up in the city, and the manga chronicles Seishuu's interactions with the people of the island, who drive tractors on public roads and don't enter through his front door when they visit. On top of that, Seishuu's house becomes a hangout for the island's children.
