Crusher Joe: The Movie
Amid a supposedly simple escort mission, Joe and his crew experience a failure during their warp travel. They wake up just to find out that the passengers are missing. To make things worse, the United Space Force accuses them of committing space piracy and Crusher HQ suspends their licenses for six months. To clear their names, they head out to the dangerous planet of Lagol to find the person who hired them for that particular mission.
Crushers: intergalactic Jacks-of-All-Trades who will take on any assignment for the right price. Crusher Joe heads a small team of these outer space troubleshooters that includes the cyborg Talos, the beautiful Alfin, and the obligatory kid sidekick Ricky. A routine assignment escorting a cryogenically frozen heiress to a medical facility goes awry when the girl goes missing and Joe and his team are left holding the bag. It seems space pirates are trying to play the Crushers for patsies, but Joe doesn’t take kindly to the setup and tracks the pirates to their home world. The four heroes not only have to rescue their human cargo but take down the pirates in the process, which involves a heck of a lot of space dogfights, explosions, and good old-fashioned hand-to-hand combat.
From demolition to terraforming planets, there’s nothing the mercenaries known as the Crushers can’t do -– until now. When Crusher Joe and his team arrive at the other end of a warp without their precious cargo, they find themselves on the wrong side of the law, with their license revoked. Their only hope of redemption is to find the culprits themselves, but there’s a catch: the bad guys have fled to the pirate-infested planet of Lagol! Do Joe and the gang have what it takes to find out the truth before the truth ends up killing them?
