Sci-fi Harry
Harry McQuinn has always been an outcast at his school. One day started out no different from normal, except a classmate named Catherine stood up for him when the local bullies were ragging on him. She gets Harry to open up to her and is amazed when Harry shows her his unique ability of telekinesis, the ability to move things with his mind. Unfortunately, Harry doesn't realize his powers have a dangerous side effect to them: every time he uses them, someone close to him dies.
Harry is definitely not your average American teenager. Instead, he is the epitome of an "alienated youth" - friendless at school, extremely weird and nervous to the point of paranoia. But a chance occurrence causes Harry to start to demonstrate what appear to be psychic powers - yet he neither believes in them nor consciously controls them.
But there are other ominous forces at work who do believe in Harry, and attempt to make use of him in ways that are threatening and frightful.
Harry MacQuinn is a teenage loner. He's frightened of confrontation, is extremely awkward, is all but invisible at his school, and has no self-confidence; but there's one thing that makes him unique: Harry has telekinetic powers. After he haphazardly saves Catherine - a girl he has a crush on - from attackers, he unwittingly reveals his powers to her. And after his powers are seen on video, events unfold that bring to light an interest in Harry from a secretive organization, attention from the local police, and the most dangerous aspect of Harry's ability: every time he uses his powers, someone near him dies.
