Earth wants her, Mars wants her... In fact, everybody wants Dolores except the one man who's got her! James Links is just a hard-working, hard-drinking, cargo-carrying all-American trying to reconcile with his estranged family as the planets teeter on the brink of war. But when Orbital Frame Dolores finds herself aboard his carrier ship Ender, the whole Links clan is saddled with mystery, murder, and mayhem.

Will the Links family save themselves and unlock the enigma of Dolores' destiny?
49-year-old James Lynx was an officer (LEV pilot) in the United Nations global army, one day he received notification that his wife—a Martian scientist—was killed during a lab experiment.
Hateful and resentful for letting her go, his children blamed him and cast him aside, depressed and in despair, James quit the military and took up a job as a transporter between Earth and Mars, he had some slight hope of his wife still being alive and to find her he wanted to be out there. After a few years, he seemed to have given up all hope and turned to drinking, until one day he receives an orbital frame by the name of "Delorez," sent by his dead wife. Once again, he dares to hope and sets off on a wild and wacky adventure to find the truth and to reunite his family.
The hostility between Earth and Mars has grown, and a war is drawing close. This, however, does not concern James Links, a rough American cargo hauler who wants nothing else but to patch up the relationship between him and his family. But things change when he discovers the highly sought after orbital frame Dolores, quickly causing himself and his two teenage children to be framed for murder and accused of terrorist actions. Follow them on their journey to Mars as they try to clear their names of these crimes they did not commit, with only each other to rely on.
