Anayagi City faces the Sea of Japan, and is a futuristic city that survived the outbreak of “Mass Apathy Syndrome” ten years ago.

Ryou (28), who is a young Chief Officer at Ayanagi City’s police station, for the first time in ten years.
Meanwhile, the city is facing a string of mysterious incidents. Ship crew members disappear from their underwater submarine. The Apathy Syndrome resurfaces. The Reverse case, a series of student murders, intensifies. Ryou investigates an organization involved in all of the above incidents. One of these incidents results in the awakening of Shin’s Persona. The wheel of fate begins to turn for this family of brothers.
The stage is Ayanagi City, a city near the Japan Sea. It is a futuristic city that was built to carry out the recovery from the calamity caused by the “Apathy Syndrome” ten years previous. High school student Shin Kanzato with his little brother Jun, meet with their elder brother Ryou, who is the chief of the Ayanagi City Police, again after ten years. At that time, a series of strange incidents happen in Ayanagi City such as the crew of a submarine that suddenly disappears while in their submarine, or a spiritless symptom which disturbs the world after ten years, or the case of the inside out corpse where a student took on a cruel appearance. Ryou tracks down the organization behind the string of incidents, and having become involved in the incidents, Shin awakens the “Persona.”
After being separated from him for ten years, Shin Kanzato and his brother Jun have moved to Ayanagi City to live with their older brother Ryou; but little do they know that a rash of mysterious murders have recently plagued the city, leaving the victims’ bodies turned inside out. Soon, Shin finds himself being attacked by a man who is able to summon a mysterious and ghostly creature; and more importantly, he realizes that he possesses the same powers. Now, with the discovery of more people like himself, Shin finds himself drawn further and further into the world of those who use “Persona.”
