Trond Teigen is a Norwegian actor, singer and voice actor.
He started his career with the play Treasure Island at the Chateau Neuf in 1989, where he later also played Tony in West Side Story and Charley in Charley's Aunt. Here he also starred in Hello Dolly, Sweet Charity and Oliver.
At Det Norske Teatret in Oslo, Trond has appeared in Sweeney Todd, Guten og Stjerna, Carousel, Musical Musikal, Black Rider, Piaf, An-Magritt, The Threepenny Opera, Which Witch, Norge-Brasil and Evita among other things.
Trond has also starred in various plays at other theaters, including Annie at Bryggeteatret, Kjøpmannen i Venezia at Teatret Vårt, Tolvskillingsoperaen at Hålogaland Teater, Sofies Verden at Fornebu, Guys and Dolls and Jul i Blåfjell at Oslo Nye Teater, MAMMA MIA, My fair lady and Phantom of the Opera at Folketeatret, Skjønnheten og Udyret at Christiania Teater and last but not least played the role of Marius in Les Misérables in Karlstad and Malmö.
Trond has starred in various Norwegian live action films and TV series as well, including Tre på toppen, Mot i brøstet, Holms, Detective Downs, Hotel Cæsar, Occupied, Quiet by the river, Rosemari, Valkyrien, Seven, 22. juli, Bloodride, Norsk-ish and Atlantic Crossing.
He has also lent his voice to countless cartoon characters; Disney's Aladdin, Captain Shang in Mulan, Beymax in Big Hero 6, Marvel's Iron-Man and SpongeBob to name a few. Trond has appeared on several recordings and released the solo album Distant Shores in 2005.
