Nils-Martin Crawfurd

Nils-Martin Crawfurd is a Norwegian actor and voice actor, best known for his role as Ash in the Pokémon series.

For his role as Ash, Nils-Martin was personally scouted by Trond Teigen, a fellow Norwegian actor who knew Nils-Martin from previously having performed with him in the musical Oliver! at Chateau Neuf. Since the first episode aired in 2000, Nils-Martin has reprised his role for all Norwegian dubbed Pokémon media with the exception of movies six and seven, where the role of Ash was recasted with Even Bergan for unknown reasons.
As of 2019, the Pokémon series is being dubbed in 28 languages, and out of 28 current voices of Ash, Nils-Martin is one of 11 who has been doing it since the beginning.

Outside of anime, one of Nils-Martin's most notable roles is being the voice of Robin in various Norwegian dubbed DC media.
