Steins;Gate

What do you get when you cross a microwave with a cell phone? Apparently, a time machine! In Steins;Gate, self-proclaimed mad scientist Hououin Kyouma and the Future Gadgets team gain the ability to send text messages into the past, changing the present around them. While these temporal experiments may seem trivial at first, they eventually gain the attention some sinister people, leaving the Future Gadgets team struggling to repair time, save everyone’s lives, and possibly even save the world.

The story of Steins;Gate takes place in Akihabara and is about a group of friends who have managed to customize their microwave into a device that can send text messages to the past. As they perform different experiments, an organization named SERN who has been doing their own research on time travel tracks them down and now the characters have to find a way to avoid being captured by them.
