Goro Arashiyama is a lifeguard at the local beach, and an old friend of the Aizawa siblings.

As a self-proclaimed "Protector of the Sea", he has a mutual respect for Ika, despite seeing her as a hassle. He has a strong crush on Chizuru that she seems to not be aware of. He even keeps a picture of her as his phone's background image. Because of this crush, he seemingly can't refuse any request made by Chizuru.
