In June 2025, he was accused of underage sexual misconduct by the influencer Korekore during a Kick stream. He appeared on Korekore's stream via LINE chat, fully admitted to the allegations, and announced his retirement from illustration. He was subsequently dropped from publishers, and his credit for 'original character design' was omitted from Tsuihousha Shokudou e Youkoso! set to air the following month.
He is the original character designer of VTubers Aqua Minato, Himari Mochizuki, Tenten Hourei, and Sakuna Yuuki.
