In an attempt to inherit his wife's money to further his research into brain surgery and lobotomy, a doctor attempts to gaslight her into madness in an effort to have her killed on the operating table. However, a past victim of his is not so far behind and attempts to guide the woman from beyond the grave into uncovering the truth. This film was later recut as "Escape from the Insane Asylum", with footage from "Frozen Scream" inserted at various points.
