Andrzej Edmund Niemirski (born 19 October 1962 in Warsaw) is a Polish theatre, film, television, and voice actor. A graduate of the State Higher School of Theatre in Wrocław, he has performed on stage at theatres including Rampa in Warsaw and appeared in series such as “13 posterunek,” “Father Matthew,” and “Na Wspólnej.”

The film also tells the story of Witold Pilecki’s fate at the hands of the Communist government after the end of WWII. The film is a reconstruction of the trial which took place in Warsaw during the communist regime in Poland. Captain Pilecki described his investigation as more cruel than his stay at Auschwitz.
