Biography

Irmgard Grabinger was born in Munich, Germany in 1937. Growing up she enjoyed skiing and riding her bike thru the Alps. At the age of 18 her adventurous side took over and she moved to England to be a nurse and to perfect her English. After England, Irmgard was a tourist guide on the Italian Riviera. In 1962, she decided to try another new adventure. She moved to San Francisco, California, USA. Her original intention was to stay for one year but life had other plans. In San Francisco she met her husband Nick Millard. Together they made films. In fact, Nick named his film company - IRMI Films - after Irmgard. Irmgard not only produced but also appeared in many of these ultra low budget films. She passed away peacefully on August 31, 2023, at the age of 86, at her home in Ave Maria, Florida.
