The film tells the story of Dávid, an eighteen-year-old negligent teen. After eight years of being apart, Dávid and his mother move back from Vojvodina to Hungary to live with Dávid’s father. We slowly discover Dávid’s secret operation: he illegally transports refugees across the border for money, in order to fund his move abroad.

In 2020 the Hungarian government announced the change of ownership at nine state universities in order to make them maintained by foundations.
The so-called “restructuring” comprised the imposition of a board of trustees over the universities, the members of which being loyal supporters of the government holding stable positions in its economic halo.
Only one of the nine institutions protested against the forced political takeover of the University of Theatre and Film Arts (SZFE).
Our film presents one of the stories of the university blockade.

Having hidden from military draft, Barnabás leaves his hometown and walks across the country to find and save his wounded brother who has been hiding with a guerilla group deep in the forest. Despite their exhaustion, lack of food or information, they are still fighting for their cause. Barnabás finds his brother alienated and distrustful. The tension between the boys further increases when they turn out to be attracted to the same nurse in the camp. Hoping he can earn his brother's trust and take him home, Barnabás decides to stay and lie about his past. In the meantime, he has to face the cruelty of war.

One day he unexpectedly achieves success in a national online talent show, as Larry, with a song he wrote about his father's unforgivable sins. Adam makes it to the finals, but soon realizes that he is unable to rap in front of others. In order to grow up to his popular online alter ego, Adam must break through his inner barrier and face the strange authority of his father.
