Credits

Grayson/Flowers/Jewels Grayson/Flowers/Jewels (1985) Character: Himself
A sensitive, self-reflexive love poem on film to Grayson Perry, who appears here positively radiating warmth at the camera, wearing make-up and a series of unusual necklaces.
The British Guide to Showing Off The British Guide to Showing Off (2011) Character: N/A
Documentary about British artist Andrew Logan as he attempts to put on the 2009 edition of his Alternative Miss World. The film also presents a history of the contest (which has run eccentrically since 1972) which was set up firstly as an excuse to have a good party, but has grown into a celebration of alternative lifestyles and sexualities. The documentary mixes archive footage, animated inserts, with talking head interviews and a fly-on-the-wall look at the organisation of the 2009 event
Grayson Perry and the Tomb of the Unknown Craftsman Grayson Perry and the Tomb of the Unknown Craftsman (2011) Character: Self
Artist Grayson Perry has been working behind the scenes at the British Museum to stage his most ambitious show yet: The Tomb of the Unknown Craftsman. Given free rein to choose whatever he wants from the Museum's vast collections, Perry has also produced some 25 new works of art, from his trademark ceramics to a working motorbike. Imagine follows Perry for more than two years as he creates his own imaginary civilisation at the heart of the British Museum.
Royal Academy of Arts: Summer Exhibition 2018 Royal Academy of Arts: Summer Exhibition 2018 (2018) Character: Self
In 2018 the Royal Academy celebrates its 250th Summer Exhibition and artist Grayson Perry takes the helm to coordinate the world's longest running and largest open-submission show. Presented by Kirsty Wark and Jayson Mansaray the programme comes from the very glamorous private view and goes behind the scenes of the Academy as it prepares for its annual artistic extravaganza. Grayson in his role as chief coordinator celebrates the democracy of the exhibition with the theme of Art Made Now and creates a room of fun dedicated to pieces he finds amusing.
All In The Best Possible Taste All In The Best Possible Taste (2012) Character: Self
Grayson Perry, a leading British artist and winner of the Turner Prize, is fascinated by taste - why people buy the things they do, wear what they wear, and how class influences these decisions.
I Am Martin Parr I Am Martin Parr (2024) Character: Self
Since the 1970s‚ Martin Parr has fearlessly held out his unique photographic mirror and given us some of the most extraordinary and unique visual clichés of modern times. Sometimes serious‚ often absurd but always playful‚ his insightful and often acrid commentary on consumer society has always been a subject of controversy and discussion.
Hail the New Puritan Hail the New Puritan (1986) Character: N/A
A fictionalized portrait of the British dancer and choreographer Michael Clark, depicting a day in his life as he and his company prepare for a performance.
Brabham Brabham (2020) Character: Self
The story of the forgotten godfather of modern Formula 1—Jack Brabham—and a son's quest to defy the odds in the competitive world of international motor-sport once more.
Eric Ravilious: Drawn to War Eric Ravilious: Drawn to War (2022) Character: N/A
One of Britain’s greatest landscape artists, Eric Ravilious, is killed in a plane crash while on commission as Official War Artist in Iceland in 1942. His life is as compelling and enigmatic as his art, set against the dramatic wartime locations that inspire him. This film brings to life this unique and still grossly undervalued British artist caught in the crossfire of war 80 years ago, whose legacy largely sank without trace, until now…
Joe Lycett: Summer Exhibitionist Joe Lycett: Summer Exhibitionist (2022) Character: Self
Art-loving comedian Joe Lycett joins artists hoping to make it onto the walls of the RA Summer Exhibition 2022, the world’s largest open-submission art contest.
