# Surah The story follows a Malay girl, Maisarah or Sara (Syatila Melvin), who idolizes Western culture simply because she lived in America for several years. Feeling superior and more modern, Sara's behavior and manner of speaking often annoy those around her. Sara is forced to return to Malaysia because her father, Dato' Mustafa, dislikes her lifestyle there—her fondness for partying and socializing freely.
