"3 Cortes" is a collection of three gore-filled shocking short films from three Brazilian filmmakers. The first story, "Sozinho", is about a man meeting up with a young woman he met earlier in the day. When he gets to her place, she has a special surprise in store for him. "Coleção de Humanos Mortos" is the second story, and in it a young man is plagued by his inner demons, pushing him to satisfy his desire to inflict pain on others. Finally, in "06 Tiros, 60ml" a man wakes up to find himself trapped inside a hospital with blood-soaked faceless monsters and must do what he can to escape, even if that means killing every monster or person he comes across.

Manifesto Canibal: O Filme (2007)

In 2002 Petter Baiestorf launched the fanzine "Manifesto Canibal" with notes on how to produce films independently without any resources. In 2004 the anarchist publisher Achiamé ordered an expansion of the fanzine to be published in book format and, thus, the book "Manifesto Canibal" by Petter Baiestorf, Cesar Souza and intervention by Carli Bortolanza appeared. In 2007, already out of print, Petter Baiestorf decided to film the book in the format of an experimental short and what follows here is the result of this iconoclastic experience that kills the gods of cinema.

A critical and public success, it has been banned in over 153 countries. This documentary produced in 2011 perfectly closes this lineup of Gurcius Gewdner's early films, serving as almost a revisiting reflection of a passionate and cynical filmmaker who saw special interest in fake documentaries as a chance to produce films with zero budget, always with the kuchar brothers in his heart. It is also a vote of hope for the emergence of new directors, touched by the spark of creation when watching these films by Gurcius Gewdner in the early 2000s.

This little film came up during the composition of "A Nau dos Loucos", when I realized that the dubbing sessions were taking up too much space to not become a film by itself. It's our first day of reading the script and composing the voiceover, first day collectively working on Pazucus, which is when it starts to get really fun. I didn't even know that making this film (these films actually) would be such an amazing experience yet, but I already had a good idea and I was already quite happy to just spend the day recording demented narrations with Marcius Lindner, Mariana Ungaretti (who does not appear in the film, but it provided us with the wonderful sound delirium, the closest I've ever come to seeing a private concert by Diamanda Galás ) and Marcel Mars.
