Biography

Keith Dunphy is an Irish actor, playwright, and director from Waterford, based in London, who won a scholarship to RADA in the early 1990s. He has worked with the Royal Shakespeare Company, The Globe, and the Young Vic Theatre over a 30+ year career. His film credits include The Wind that Shakes the Barley (2006), Children of Men (2006), Les Misérables (2012), and Rogue One: A Star Wars Story (2016). On television he has appeared in The Hollow Crown, Peaky Blinders, Professor T (5 episodes), and The Winter King (2023). In theatre he has performed as Tybalt, Buckingham, and Macduff at the RSC, and in the West End in Under the Black Rock (2023). He is also a playwright, creator of the one-man show Words Against The Word (2025), and a director. His date of birth is unconfirmed. No major awards are on record.
