Celso Adolfo Castillo (September 12, 1943 – November 26, 2012) was a Filipino film director and screenwriter renowned for his provocative storytelling and bold cinematic style. Often hailed as the "Messiah of Philippine Cinema". Castillo's work traversed genres, from action epics to psychological horror, leaving an indelible mark on the Filipino film industry.
