Raaj Kumar [born Kulbhushan Pandit, Loralai, Baluchistan, British India (present-day Balochistan, Pakistan)] was an Indian actor who worked in Hindi films. He worked as a sub-inspector under Bombay Police before entering the film industry. He made his acting debut in Rangeeli (1952). Some of his notable films include Mother India (1957), Waqt (1965), Pakeezah (1972), Heer Ranjha (1970), and Kshatriya (1993). He had a successful career spanning several decades and was recognized for his unique acting style.
