Tshering Phintso Denzongpa, widely known by his acting name "Danny" Denzongpa (born 25 February 1948) is an Indian actor of Sikkimese ancestry working in Bollywood films. Denzongpa was born in the state of Sikkim, at that time an independent Bhutia monarchy. He is an ethnic Bhutia and speaks Bhutia as his mother tongue. He started his career by singing Indian and Nepali songs and acting in Indian and Nepali movies. His nepali song "Kaanchi lai ghumaune Kathmandu Sahara" is still famous among Nepali people after 2 decades. He has acted in numerous Hindi films such as Asoka and 16 December. He has also starred in some international projects, the most famous being Seven Years in Tibet where he acted alongside Hollywood actor Brad Pitt. In 2003, Denzongpa was awarded the Padma Shree, India's fourth highest civilian honour. Denzongpa is noted for his villainous and character roles. He started dabbling in the brewing industry after 1982, and in 2009, his company Yuksom Breweries, which has three breweries in Sikkim, Orissa and Assam, and sells over three million cases, acquired Rhino Breweries in Assam, to thwart industry leader United Breweries’ (UB) plans to take over the North East market. Chand's naivety is taken advantage of by a group of terrorists, and ultimately Chand becomes involved with terrorists group, and Police Inspector Chauthe (Sadashiv Amrapurkar) claims that he has sufficient evidence to convict Chand. Shaheen believes Chand is innocent, and sets out to prove his innocence.

Monica Kapoor lives a wealthy lifestyle in London, England. When she hears that her estranged brother, Kishan, has been killed while traveling in a train, she returns home to India and asks his much younger and drop dead gorgeous widow, Shobha, to move out so that she could sell the house, pick up the cash, return to London and get married to her boyfriend, Manoj. She does get to sell the house and compels Shobha to move in with Kishan's friend, Amar, but Manoj steals the cash and disappears. Humbled by this incident, Monica also moves in with Amar and Shobha, as well as Amar's younger brother, Chickoo, and ends up falling in love with Amar. She decides to marry him at the Registrar's Office. When he does not show, she returns home and finds him getting intimate with Shobha.

Amrish creates misunderstanding in Seema's heart for Suraj and she starts looking upon him as a greedy person who discarded her love for the sake of money. But the problem is that she has already got pregnant through him and after the demise of her father, she moves to the region of the Himalayas, giving birth to Abhay (Akshaye Khanna). Abhay grows up misunderstanding his father by learning his mother's version of the past events. He falls in love with Esha (Anjala Zaveri) who is the daughter of their neighbor - Major Mathur (Satish Shah) but love is less important for him. What is more important for him is to locate his father and settle scores with him for his mother's sorrows.

Singer/Dancer Monty Oberoi meets and falls in love with Tina. He then starts hallucinating and having visions of an unknown place. His doctors advise him to take a break and he decides to travel to Kenya, where Tina resides with her uncle, Kabira, and guardian, Kamini. Monty experiences more incidents and feels as if he has been here before, while Tina notices that he appears to be more attracted to Kamini than herself. Neither are aware that Monty will soon be entrapped in a plot that will result in his sudden death.
