At the end of the turbulent fifties, the first black South African top-level footballer, Steve Mokone, came to Almelo to play for Heracles. He was a great success and became friends with the impetuous Felix Verbeek, who was only fifteen years old. The father is accompanied by his traumatized and mute eight-year-old son whom he had to kidnap from a Riga hospital. Together, the two flee towards Holland where the father Yuris hopes to find his long-lost friend Marie, whom he remembers as a great beauty. During the long journey, father and son have several funny adventures, many of which occur because neither father nor son speak much Dutch. They finally arrive at Marie's door empty-handed. What they find, gives them little hope, for the lithe young idealist of Yuris' dreams has become middle-aged and cynical.
Necrocam Necrocam (2001) Character: Sander
Xeno, Christine, and Bivak spend their days and nights together in dimly lit rooms cast in the glow of shadows by their computer monitors. The subculture of LAN Parties, IM'ing and hacking confuse Xeno's parents as to why their son spends so much time behind the screen with his friends. The friends rally around Christine as it is discovered she has cancer. Christine's cancer goes into remission as the friends make a pact one night at a LAN Party. Convinced she'll be the first to go, Christine and the others make a promise that whoever dies first in the group will have the others place a webcam in their coffin so the world can watch their corpse.

October 1997. Paul Winters (35) is deputy public prosecutor in Arnhem and is working on his first major case: an investigation in to the allegations of a Bosnian girl that she was raped by three soldiers in the Dutch UN contingent and whose brother is alleged to have been killed by them. Winters suspects that the girl is telling the truth, but he can't prove it and the case is adjourned. Then one of the men gives a revealing statement that throws a different light on the case. Winters argues in favour of reopening the case, but faces opposition from an unexpected quarter.
Total Loss Total Loss (2000) Character: Duco
On New Year's Eve, three friends drive into a tunnel quarreling. They ignore road works, roll the car and crash. In the last split second, their lives flash before their eyes. Flashbacks unravel how the men met and what preceded the quarrel. The reconstruction leads to Duco, a psychiatrist who is hiding his homosexuality from his parents. He falls in love with the homeless Reinier, and takes him in. Their love-hate relationship is disrupted when Reinier takes into his house Jeroen who has attempted suicide. Jeroen cleverly digs into the pasts of the men, fathoms their strange relationship and feeds the repressed tension. He uses the situation to his own ends.

Feature film about a filmmaker who wants to make a documentary about the life of Hungarian director Mykosch. Using images from films he made in the past, the Hungarian tells about his experiences as a resistance fighter, refugee and bohemian. The documentary maker is fascinated by Mykosch's story but finds it increasingly difficult to distinguish between film and reality. The Hungarian lies without batting an eyelid, tells real and fake stories with the same charm and builds up theories, only to ridicule them. In the editing room, Mykosch finishes his latest film. He can't decide when to let the protagonist die. Then the documentary maker realizes that the death of the character will also mean the end of Mykosch.
