She leaves everything behind, and runs off to a guesthouse in Jeju Island. Other guests have been occupying the guesthouse- and with Jae-yeon as their new member, they gather around the dinner table and each start their own stories on their past romances- extraordinary stories. One by one, they empty out their 'waste of emotions', yet to be thrown out yet.

A group of very different people set sail on an old warship. The passengers include a senator with his son, a newly-wed couple, a mysterious old man, a group of sex workers and a gang of violent criminals. At first the aggressive behaviour of the thugs and their leader is directed at the first class passengers, but then more and more indiscriminately against the rest of those on board. Rape is followed by murder and it’s not long before the first of numerous and increasingly brutal mutinies takes place.

North Korea, facing international sanctions, seeks assistance from a Hungarian NGO to build churches in Pyongyang as a way to bypass the sanctions. The NGO proposes organizing a revival meeting with international Choir organizations, leading the Ministry of 5 Securities to apprehend believers. The "Victory Orchestra," a replacement ensemble, is actually composed of underground Choir members. As they sing hymns openly for the first time, their true identity as underground believers is revealed, creating moments of laughter, tears, and emotion.
