It tells the story of a bet between father and son where son says that he will earn 100 cr in 90 days on a condition that his father will follow whatever he says without any rebuttals. This bet then leads to many funny situations, twists and turns and finally son does win the bet however what had he done to win this is the high point of climax.

Sangam is a Pakistani Urdu film released in 1964, directed by Zahir Raihan starring Rosy Samad, Khalil, Haroon Rashid and Sumita Devi. This is the first full-length colour movie made in entire Pakistan. This was the fourth film by Zahir Raihan (1935-1972) who later went on to direct more films in Urdu and Bengali during the 1960s. Zahir Raihan became one of the most important filmmakers of East Pakistan, which later became Bangladesh in 1971. Although Sangam was an Urdu film, but most of the cast, playback artistes and crew were from the Bengali-speaking Eastern province.

When Ramnath goes to fetch a doctor, he is knocked down and run over by a speeding car, losing the use of his left leg. When he returns from hospital, he finds that his mom has passed away, and his landlord has evicted him. Penniless and hungry, he roams the streets of Bombay and befriends a blind young man, Mohan, and both use their talents - playing and harmonica and singing respectively to earn some money. Mohan is on the look-out for his sister, Meena, who works as a Nurse in one of the hospitals and hopes to be reunited with her. Both friends befriend a ailing young girl, Manjula, and hope to get some money from her so that Ramnath can attend school.

Shaka saves her from worse, at the hands of brother-in-law, and the pair flee. They set up home in Shaka's house, much to the displeasure of the respectable neighbours who are all too ready to think the worst.
