Jako kníže Rohan Jako kníže Rohan (1984) Character: N/A
Vladimír Menšík in a dramatic story of a suddenly rich peasant. The play tells the story of the tragic fate of A. Špáta, who, as a poor second time, unexpectedly inherited 15 thousand gulden. He is convinced that the capital ensures him for life that he will live "like Prince Rohan". He submits to his proud mother and underestimates a good and modest woman. He buys two houses in the countryside, hosts sycophantic neighbors in a pub - he tries to live like a rich man. The classic of Czech realistic prose K. V. Rais, whose novella "Špáta" was adapted for television by J. Z. Novák, realistically affected a person in relation to property and his desire to rise socially. In Špáta, he created a social type that surpassed his time.

Hauři Hauři (1988) Character: N/A
Building themes, however modified, permeated the nationalised cinema throughout its existence. This time, director Július Matula has focused on a young engineer who, with high hopes, accepts a position in a famous agricultural cooperative. However, he soon discovers that behind the proclaimed phrases there is in fact hypocrisy and protectionism. The authors criticise the fact that incompetence is often covered up, that shortcomings end up being cleverly camouflaged, that the social mood favours the mediocre and the adaptable. The hauers present a statement that is courageous, so to speak, within the limits of the law, and call for increased work consciousness.

Čas jeřabin Čas jeřabin (1997) Character: N/A
Life in a rural retirement home is peaceful, with long-standing friendships and rivalries. One day, the residents find a bedraggled, exhausted person lying at the door. The next day, however, the poor woman transforms into a charming lady who becomes the object of attention, especially among the male population. Her charm triggers a strange emotional epidemic in the home – people awaken from their slumber, becoming interested in the world around them, both near and far, and feeling a greater need for tolerance. This lyrical television play by director P. Háši and playwright F. Pavlíček, starring K. Fialová, tells of the remarkable influence of love on human life, even if it is already fulfilled and balanced. On life in the time of rowan berries.
Život a dílo skladatele Foltýna Život a dílo skladatele Foltýna (1993) Character: N/A

Pátek není svátek Pátek není svátek (1980) Character: N/A
A Czech film comedy about the ordinary days of an ordinary Novák family, about the confusion of finding and the winding road to wisdom...
Víkend bez rodičů Víkend bez rodičů (1982) Character: N/A
Even great love does not necessarily overcome a difference of morals - although the young hero is very much in love, he still rejects the comfortable and easy existence he could lead thanks to the family of his future father-in-law. A tediously moralistic comedy, it picks up with all seriousness the morality of a socialist man who has broken forever with petty bourgeois ideas. It is therefore too contrived, nor does it succeed in elevating the tawdry story in any way. A comedy about life's little and big compromises.
Jak se naučit švédsky Jak se naučit švédsky (1979) Character: N/A

And not only is he alive, he even speaks Czech suspiciously well...

Putování Jana Amose Putování Jana Amose (1983) Character: N/A
The distressing fate of the Czech great Jan Amos Komenský, forced to leave his homeland after the White Mountain disaster. It depicts his encounters with various European personalities of the 17th century - the Queen of Sweden, artists and scientists. It emphasises the hero's nobility, but also his inner resilience, which allowed him to overcome many personal and professional tragedies. The parable of The Labyrinth of the World and the Paradise of the Heart becomes part of the story. However, Comenius's concept is sculpturally lifeless and, in particular, the religious dimension is "erased" from it. The simplistic biography therefore does not avoid schoolboyish dryness.

As they question these “práškaři,” they uncover a network of illicit sales and potential motives tied to debts and blackmail. Clues from the supplier’s arrest and addicts’ testimonies gradually reveal whether Eva’s murder was linked to her clandestine drug trade or if a more personal betrayal lies at the heart of the crime.
