However, their love is a thorn in the side of Černoočko's grandmother, the witch Křivonožka, who would prefer her grandson to forget about Mařinka and devote himself to the craft of witchcraft. Therefore, she takes advantage of the opportunity when Prince Hubert arrives at the castle for a courtship, deliberately arousing Černoočko's jealousy and hoping that he will renounce Mařinka. However, Černoočko secretly transforms himself into a bird using a complex spell and flies to the castle to see for himself what is happening.

But he is a poor shepherd who falls in love with the princess, and she with him. However, he must not reveal his true identity. He promises to remain silent and do as he is told. In the end, however, he confesses to the princess who he really is. This enrages the princes and suitors... The theme of the fairy tale is loosely based on a Hindu myth belonging to the field of Indian religious literature and dealing with the fates of gods and earthly heroes. The main character is the Hindu goddess Kali, a symbol of maternal instincts and cults. The second hero is her son, a young shepherd who, at the end of the fairy tale, takes his mother's name in her divine honor. The story takes place in India in the 6th century BC.

And to top it all off, the clever maneuvers that Liduška and Vranko use to thwart their parents' wedding plans are complicated by a magical duo—the wizard Čaro and the witch Boska.

Immediately, his face changes into a ridiculous and ugly one. After ten years of wandering, during which he learns many things, Orion falls into the power of an evil wizard who has a task for him. Completing this task will help the wizard rule the whole world. Orion must overcome evil spells and regain not only his beautiful face and pure soul, but also the love of his mother, whom he once proudly drove away.

It all begins at Prague Airport, where American agents have brought Major Maisner, who has been expelled from the United States, in handcuffs. He returns to his place of work, the Central Police Academy, despite having been demoted to lieutenant for his "performance" and his position as academy commander having been taken over by the newly promoted Captain Hrubec. Maisner meets his former students, who now teach at the school. They all welcome him enthusiastically and receive gifts from him. While psychologist Kudláková, who is attracted to commanding types, has lost interest in the demoted Maisner and is now passionately in love with Hrubec, Boženka Vinklářová, who has broken up with the gypsy Štefan and now teaches dactyloscopy at the school, focuses her attention on him. Maisner recounts how he jumped off a skyscraper in America to defend himself against Simona Ptáčková's advances.
