Barley (2012–2023) was a famous British "stunt dog" actor, best known for his role as Demelza's dog Garrick in the BBC series Poldar. Barley also co-starred as Frank Madra in the 2022 movie Róise & Frank. A rescue dog from Battersea Dogs Home, he was a Lurcher cross (often described as an "Irish Rover") recognized for his scruffy appearance and versatile acting skills
