Young Hannelore Pohl introduces her boyfriend Spletti to her grandmother, as her relationship with her mother does not seem suitable for such affairs. Grandma Wiedemann is also not averse to the janitor Wollenschläger's enthusiastic efforts. Only her overworked mother Gisela Pohl, head of a forestry business, is not open to such things. So Hannelore decides to look for a husband for her exhausted mother, as this is the only way to create a sensible atmosphere in the family. A newspaper advertisement leads to the manager Gisela Pohl and her best employee Bechstein.

He had been in such a good mood until this moment and now this - no dinner ready. The three children are a little more understanding, but don't feel like getting into the kitchen either. To Gerhard's annoyance, the fridge is empty and he can't even find his beloved after-work beer. But going shopping himself on Friday is beneath him. He also has to repair the television for his neighbor Reuter.

Willi Lorenz has cheated on both women. In a discussion, he finally confesses to Trude and their life together. But the Saxon Elector Friedrich lets Luther grant. On the same day, Luther sends his friend and trailer Müntzer to Zwickau to continue the Reformation there. But Zwickau is also the city of oppressed cloth companions and great poverty. Müntzer consciously encounters the social hardship of the people for the first time and transforms from a pendant to the opponent of Luther. In the German Peasant War, he faces the superior princely army in the decisive battle near Frankenhausen as a leader of the insurgents.

When the customer asks to see the price list, he is told: "It's still being printed!" He hands Mr. Liercke 2.22 marks in coins. The missing 20 mark bill "will also be printed first".

Psichinski rings Mr. Semmler's doorbell and alerts him to strange noises in the attic. Together they sneak upstairs and discover a full-grown horse, which they report to the police officer. He triggers the alarm. The fire department and several workmen marvel at the event and ponder how it could have gotten there in its full size. The return transport requires structural measures and reconstruction work. After completion, Psischinski's house resembles a "jewel box". Later, the policeman asks Psischinski how he "managed" the matter and learns that he had brought a foal there 1½ years ago in order to draw the attention of the public, especially the tradesmen, at the appropriate time so that work that was difficult to carry out could finally be completed. Shaking his head, the official, who also owns a house, leaves the property with the comment: "You should have a horse!"

The article explained that the then court martial judge knowingly covered up for the murderers and delayed the trial. At the trial, the testimony of witnesses succeeded in proving the truth of the publication and exposing those behind the murders as those who were preparing fascism.

Wordelmann tricks Schmitzdorff at his expense and pretends to be allowed to perform the wedding because of his military affiliation. And so the grenadier ends up organizing a wedding that isn't a wedding and takes the dastardly prank to the extreme until everyone involved has lost their laughter.

He gets suspended for writing an essay that his teachers consider to be a challenge to the state. Just Don't Think I'll Cry became one of twelve films and film projects-almost an entire year's production-that were banned in 1965-1966 due to their alleged anti-socialist aspects. Although scenes and dialogs were altered and the end was reshot twice, officials condemned this title as "particularly harmful." In 1989, cinematographer Ost restored the original version, and this and most of the other banned films were finally screened in January 1990. Belatedly, they were acclaimed as masterpieces of critical realism.

So Paul sets about inventively thwarting Walter's intentions. At first, it is completely inexplicable to Walter why all his encounters with marriageable ladies end in failure. But he has other things to worry about at the moment anyway. His son, Peter, is having an affair with his teacher's daughter, of all people.

Furthermore, Klaus does not realize that several of the places he likes the most in his environment are now going to be sacrificed to mining. When Klaus becomes friends with the teacher Konzak and with the construction worker Jule, he feels understood for the first time and starts to take more responsibility.
