When he is supposed to take the items to the commission, his wife borrows a car and secretly drives off with her lover to a cottage. During the trip, they are both shot. The investigation initially leans towards a love motive, but Rauch claims that the collection included a rare goblet with rubies, which was of immense value. And the goblet has disappeared...

A holiday story about how little Jakub found the right man for his mother. An advertisement in which Mr. Vlk offers free accommodation at his country cottage in exchange for holiday housekeeping brings together three people, each unhappy in their own way: Vlk, an "almost old bachelor", whose acquaintance with a young girl, Mrs. Jelínková, who is in vain looking for a stronger emotional relationship after the death of her husband, is not working out, and little Jakub, for whom none of his mother's suitors have yet been able to replace his deceased father. The situation becomes complicated when his mother falls ill and Vlk has to take care of the boy alone. Jakub wins a new father, thanks to him the two adults become closer, and he finally has the father he chose and deserved.

The boy does not agree with his father's intentions to remarry, even though the new mother is supposed to be a sympathetic governess from a children's sanatorium. The film was made at the very end of the former regime, but it was not released until the changed political situation.

Bumerang (1997)

The story, written by former George Stransky former political prisoners and today's chairman Pen Club is situated to 50 years and uranium camp of political prisoners in Pribram, where after the fall of the Stalinist cult comes at the end of 1958 as a prisoner of the former Chief of Main Administration of correctional facilities Colonel Good. Former chief topic of coexistence, "a guard" and political prisoners in the Bolshevik camp served timeless makers to reflect on the possibility (or impossibility) of forgiveness and a sense of justice. The film, unfortunately, below expectations - mainly because of its rarity and lack syžetovou arching dramatic arc of the story, including natural gradation. Nice camera and vice versa are cast, formed literally myriad of top Czech actors. A representative of one of the main roles - Jiri Schmitzer in 1997 was awarded the Czech Lion.

Set in a small-town hospital, the film tells the story of the great suffering of a small rascal, nicknamed “Lies and Steals“, who promises his little partner that he will bring St Nicholas - a traditional figure of Czech Advent - to the hospital room. He fails to keep this promise, his efforts being thwarted several times by the pedantic head nurse, who is called the Old Goat. In the course of the plot, the strained relationships between the three adults - the alcoholic Dr. Koníček, the head nurse and the young nurse Pipka - are revealed, all burdened with various resentments, false illusions and disappointed hopes. Despite all the conflicts, and as if by a miracle, there is a kind moment of extraordinary emotional understanding at the end, and Nicholas finally appears in the hospital.

Fantaghiro follows Romualdo although she promised him to stay home, finds the camp deserted and enters the near castle of the Black Queen. When she asks for a duel to free her people she is very surprised to face Romualdo who has forgot her completely due to the magic of the Black Queen.

Grandpa’s blood type doesn’t match, prompting a frantic search—ambulances, authorities, even foreign donors—to find a suitable beekeeper. After multiple transfusions from various volunteers, Péťa shows signs of recovery. With dawn breaking, hope returns as he awakens.

The powerful evil wizard Tarabas gets knowledge about a prophecy that a king's child will defeat him. So he sends out his army of dead soldiers to kidnap all royal children. When the soldiers attack Fantaghiro's castle to steal the babies of her sisters, the battle seems to be lost until she discovers the secret to defeat the solders but by doing that she loses Romualdo. Now Fantaghiro must find the evil wizard Tarabas and convince him to break the spell and bring back Romualdo.
