Biography

Ivan Franěk (born June 17, 1964) is a Czech actor. After relocating from former Czechoslovakia to France in 1989, he has been active mainly in French and – particularly – Italian film & TV industry. His breakthrough role was lead Tobias Horvath in the Italian romance drama Brucio nel vento (2002), directed by Silvio Soldini and based on the novel Hier by Ágota Kristóf.
