Naghma was seen as an extra actress on silver screen in film Rani Khan in 1960. Choudhary was her first film as heroine in 1962. She got breakthrough from super hit Punjabi film Hath Jori in 1963. She was super star film heroine in Punjabi films but failed in Urdu films. Her peak period was from 1965 till 1974. Naghma married film producer and cameraman Akbar Irani and top film hero Habib. She is still in film industry as supporting actress..
