Mirjana is returning to Croatia from Germany where she spent some time as a refugee. She is pregnant. Now, when the war in Croatia is over and her visa expired, Mirjana is coming back to her family in a remote and devastated village. Her family is trying to move on with their lives after the war. They rebuild their house and they are trying to find a new husband for their pregnant daughter. Being patriarchal and devoted to their tradition they believe a woman needs to have a husband and a child has to have a father. Of course, the child and the father have to be of the same nationality. Problems start when Mirjana gives a birth to a boy with Asian features. The family and the neighbors are shocked. Mirjana¡¦s rigid father refuses to accept a grandchild of a different nationality, not to mention the one of a different race! Mirjana and her son are forced to leave. She returns only when her father falls seriously ill and requests to see his grandson before he dies.

Story about a forty-something Sarajevo taxi driver named Fudo (Saša Petrović) who decides to take control of his own destiny. One day, after offering a particularly bad bit of advice to a violent gangster, Fudo is badly beaten. When Fudo's wife Azra (Daria Lorenci) discovers what has happened, she decides to take the couple's infant son and move out. Now determined to win his wife back and restore peace in the home, Fudo decides to go straight. But cleaning up his act isn't going to be easy, because after borrowing enough cash from black market dealer Sejo (Emir Hadžihafizbegović) to purchase a van and then refusing to aid him in any underhanded dealings, the only person willing to cut him any slack is the sympathetic Azra.

Nevertheless, the case gets out and, unebenknownst to each other, five different people: a homicide investigator, a medical examiner, a local politician, a reporter and the brother of one of the perpetrators, decide to track the perpetrators down to stop the truth from getting out.

Duško moved to Banja Luka and continued his life as a professional volleyball player, trying to be the best possible father for his young daughter Ingrid and get over the recent news of his wife's affair with his best man. Their routine is suddenly thwarted when a mysterious man in black named Antiša enters their lives and takes them away to an abanndoned warehouse near Zagreb, offering them a large sum of money under one simple condition: if they testify against a war criminal on an international tribunal.
