When his wife leaves him, a mentally damaged and financially troubled scientist receives an offer from a photographer friend to write an erotic novel, which his friend will illustrate with his own photos. In the course of his work, the literary fiction he creates blends more and more with reality. He begins to think that he himself is experiencing love adventures in the pages of his own book.
