Matador Musical (2007)

This being a live action-cum-puppet animation film, Eigil's own imagination turns the Snooks into an amiable gnome-like little fellow and best friend during a summer holiday. When they are being joined by a cat, the fun really begins.

Johannes Vig lives a lonely life on Sandø. He is a schoolteacher, and since Sandø is currently cut off from the outside world due to ice, the island's population must fend for themselves. Johannes is secretly in love with both Annemari, the grocer's young daughter, and Rigmor, the farmer's wife. At the same time, Johannes' life is very bleak, and he finds it difficult to express his love. Life on the island is disrupted by Harry, a young engineer who is courting Annemari. Annemari's boyfriend is currently on the mainland, which is why Johannes is watching over her virtue.

Daimi is a worthy co-star, not least in their big song number "Who have you kissed in your doorway?" and Lily Broberg, Preben Kaas, and Klaus Pagh are also in their element.

Being yourself – and above all your own master – that is what the film is about. After a short stay at a girls' home, Annie returns to society and has to adapt once again. It isn't long before Annie gets involved in a deadly fight and is even taken to the police station and brought before the court. Fortunately, one of the jurors takes an interest in her and offers to take care of her and give her a home. However, Annie cannot stand this home and runs away.

Bank director L.W. Jacobsen resides in a small provincial town. He is not particularly interested in his wife, Elsebeth, but rather in teacher and city council member Miss Mortensen. Thorsen, the town's manufacturer, is a member of the same city council group as Jacobsen. Then Don Olsen comes to town. Olsen is not interested in the upper class, but rather in people. By chance, Thorsen and Olsen meet and soon become drinking buddies. Thorsen drags the milkman's horse home to his apartment in the middle of the night. The scandal is a reality. Thorsen wants to flee, but with Olsen's help, he instead woos the townspeople and Miss Mortensen under the motto "Make good times better."

The story of the confused doorman at Fiskeby Badehotel and his unusual experiences with beautiful girls and crazy guests is one of the funniest things ever seen in Danish cinema.

She often loses track of time and place when her thoughts wander.

Max has finished school and is becoming an adult. He is on his way to find a life outside his mother's overprotective wings. When he meets Kaya, she gives him the final push to become independent and finally to move out. He moves over to his father but ends up as a lodger at the neighbour Steen Kold. Max would like to go to the Roskilde Festival with Kaya and gets help with the tickets from Steen Kold who is also coming along. Mom is afraid of what will happen to Max, so she decides to follow him and Steen Kold. This leads to many poignant and incredibly embarrassing episodes deeply rooted in her great love for her son, but also in her desire to still be in the centre of his attention.
