Marcia SS25 For All The Roses In The World (2024)
Character: N/A
Marcia SS25 For All The Roses In The World We are excited to share Marcia’s new SS25 collection and video clip, starring French actress Adele Exarchopoulos, directed by Pierre-Ange Carlotti with creative direction by Emma Reynaud. In Marcia SS25 “For all the roses in the world”, looks from the brand’s newly released collection are worn by the actress, in a clip that pays homage to action movies; Adèle impersonates different women: she’s striking in the midst of the flames, daring during a raid and sensual in the dance scenes. The different styles in the new collection accompany each character played by Adèle: transcendent in the CAPRI MINI DRESS, babydoll in the DOLLY NUISETTE, she echoes the Dolce Vita in her little cream dress LA NUIT. All these characters embody the vision of a free woman with natural incandescence.

Making a Scene (2013)
Character: Woman
For this year's Movies Issue, The New York Times Magazine commissioned lines from an eclectic and talented group of screenwriters — writers responsible for some of the best scripts of 2013. We asked them each to write a single line for us — not a scene, a script or a scenario, but simply an intriguing, amusing or captivating line of dialogue. Then we gave these lines to one of the great movie artists of our time: the cinematographer Janusz Kaminski, a two-time Oscar winner. Kaminski used these lines as inspiration to create 11 original (very) short films. Each short evokes a style or genre of the cinematic past and stars an actor who gave an especially memorable performance in 2013.
