Kyle MacLachlan (born February 22, 1959) is an American actor known for his roles in Twin Peaks, Blue Velvet, and Sex and the City. He's known for his collaborations with David Lynch, who directed MacLachlan's screen debut in Dune and the Twin Peaks film prequel, Fire Walk with Me. MacLachlan won a Golden Globe for his portrayal of Dale Cooper in Twin Peaks.
