Kristbjörg Kjeld (born June 18, 1935) is an Icelandic actress. She has appeared in more than thirty films since 1962. She won the 2010 Edda Award for Best Leading Actress for her performance as Mamma Gógó in Mamma Gógó.

The director is dependent on others when it comes to his finances and when Gógó settles into the nursing home he decides to sell his mother’s apartment and valuable artwork but the profits of the sale help him to get by.
