Oren Peli is an Israeli-American filmmaker and producer best known as the creator of Paranormal Activity, one of the most influential and commercially successful found-footage horror films ever made. Peli continued to shape the franchise as a writer and producer on multiple sequels, establishing Paranormal Activity as one of the genre’s most enduring modern series.
